NOTICE OF PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT MEETING FOR TOWNLINE ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
OVER THE TRIBUTARY TO MILWAUKEE RIVER (STOFFEL CREEK) IN THE TOWN OF KEWASKUM

The Town of Kewaskum, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation
(WisDOT), will be replacing the Townline Road Bridge over the Tributary to Milwaukee River
(Stoffel Creek) located 450 ft south of County Trunk Highway “H” in the Town of Kewaskum.
The existing bridge was constructed in 1930.
The proposed project involves replacing the bridge and reconstructing the approaches for a
total construction length of approximately 375 feet. Project construction is currently scheduled
for 2026.
A Public Involvement Meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. –
5:00 p.m. at the Town of Kewaskum Community Center, 9019 Kettle Moraine Drive, Kewaskum,
WI 53040. A short project presentation will begin at 4:00 p.m., followed by an open discussion.
Topics for discussion will include a review of the proposed structure and road reconstruction, as
well as the road closure schedule.
Representatives from the engineering consulting firm MSA Professional Services, Inc. will be
available to explain exhibits and answer questions about the proposed project. Persons with
concerns about or knowledge of historic buildings, structures, and archaeological sites are
encouraged to attend this meeting or provide comments to the Town of Kewaskum or MSA
Professional Services, Inc.
